Anxiety & People-Pleasing
When you're used to thinking about everyone else first.
You might find yourself replaying conversations, worrying about how others perceive you, or saying yes when you really want to say no. Maybe you're someone others rely on, but privately, you're exhausted by the pressure to keep everything together.
Some of the things we might explore together include:
-
Overthinking, worry, and feeling responsible for other people's emotions
-
People-pleasing, perfectionism, and difficulty setting boundaries
-
Self-doubt, self-criticism, and difficulty trusting your decisions
-
Relationship anxiety and patterns rooted in earlier experiences
-
Learning to recognize and communicate your own needs
If any of this feels familiar, I'd love to learn more about what you're experiencing and explore whether working together might be a good fit.

Pregnancy & Postpartum
Making room for all the emotions that come with becoming a parent.
Pregnancy, postpartum, and the transition into parenthood can bring significant emotional, physical, and relational changes. Even when this is a season you've hoped for, it may look or feel different than you imagined. As a therapist certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C), I offer specialized support as you navigate these experiences.
This support is for all parents, including mothers, fathers, birthing and non-birthing parents, adoptive parents, and parents whose children are not living. Every experience of parenthood deserves space, care, and understanding.
Therapy can offer support with:
-
Anxiety, worry, and emotional overwhelm during pregnancy
-
Postpartum depression, anxiety, and changes in mood
-
Intrusive thoughts, fears, and uncertainty about parenthood
-
Identity shifts and adjusting to new roles and responsibilities
-
Relationship changes, boundaries, and changing family dynamics
-
Navigating expectations around pregnancy, parenting, and yourself
If any of this feels familiar, I'd love to learn more about what you're experiencing and explore whether working together might be a good fit.

Grief & Pregnancy Loss
Some experiences change us in ways that are difficult to put into words.
Grief doesn't always follow a predictable path. It may come in waves, show up unexpectedly, or exist alongside emotions that seem contradictory.
I support adults navigating grief and loss, with particular experience in pregnancy loss and pregnancy after loss. Having navigated these experiences personally, I bring both professional knowledge and personal understanding to this work.
Some of the experiences we can make space for include:
-
Miscarriage, pregnancy loss, TFMR, and the grief that follows
-
Anxiety, fear, and uncertainty during pregnancy after loss
-
Complicated emotions, including sadness, anger, guilt, and isolation
-
Changes in relationships and feeling misunderstood by others
-
Grieving a future, identity, or experience you had imagined
-
Finding ways to carry grief while continuing to live your life
If any of this feels familiar, I'd love to learn more about what you're experiencing and explore whether working together might be a good fit.

Trauma & Nervous System Support
Understanding the ways your experiences continue to affect you.
Sometimes, experiences from the past continue to influence how we respond to the present. You might understand something intellectually but still notice strong emotional or physical reactions that are difficult to explain.
Therapy can offer support with:
-
Helping you understand your triggers.
-
Help you understand trauma responses and how they show up in your emotions, body, and relationships.
-
Give you grounding techniques for moments of overwhelm.
-
Allow you to have space to speak honestly and have your experiences witnessed.
-
Help you foster compassion that shifts stuck parts of you.
-
Give your brain the space to more fully process and integrate experiences.
If any of this feels familiar, I'd love to learn more about what you're experiencing and explore whether working together might be a good fit.
Additional Areas of Support
Sometimes what brings you to therapy doesn't fit neatly into one category. Alongside my primary specialties, I also work with adults navigating:
-
Relationships & Family Dynamics: Communication, boundaries, conflict, attachment patterns, and family-of-origin experiences. I also offer limited, structured premarital counseling for couples preparing for marriage.
-
Depression & Self-Esteem: Difficult self-talk, low motivation, self-worth, and feeling disconnected from yourself.
-
Life Transitions: Changing relationships, careers, identities, responsibilities, and periods of uncertainty.
-
Perfectionism & Self-Trust: High expectations, self-criticism, difficulty making decisions, and learning to recognize your own needs.
We don't have to separate your experiences into categories to make sense of them. Part of our work can be exploring how these different pieces connect.
